The Town Planner is a resource for questions on land use reviews such as variances, conditional uses, subdivisions, shoreline permits, and certificates of appropriateness (design review), as well as interpretations of and amendments to, the zoning code in Title 16 of the Coupeville Town Code and the Comprehensive plan.

The Building Official provides assistance on building, mechanical, and plumbing codes and permits, and code violation complaints.
The Town of Coupeville currently contracts for engineering services.

The Town will review the files submitted by applicants for completeness, and communicate the status of the application back to the applicant on the next business day. Once an application is deemed complete, the Town will notify the applicant via email. The notification will include an invoice for any fees that are due prior to staff review of the application.
